The refrigerator does most of the work so there’s less pressure on the brine/canning concept. I used peppercorns and dill seeds for added seasonings was going to put garlic in but my husband said that makes it kosher and “less sour” by store bought standards. So trial and err to see what we prefer, I suppose.

I bought some from him last year and planted it and it does so well!! So big and hardy. He has it again this year. I just got some more bulbs to plant come October 1st!
