Confession: I just printed off the cleaning cards- I know, I should have done it last year… BUT good news is I told George about them and he was totally in favor of the idea. In his words, “that would be so helpful!” Totally going to purge each room in the house this first week! Also going to laminate them so I can use a dry erase marker…

I have come to love chili more and more over the years. But I hate eating the same thing for a week- a couple days of chili are fantastic but after day four I’m pretty done. I got my cleaning cards laminated and got to try them out family style over the weekend! It worked just how i hoped! We had some extra time Saturday morning so i pulled out the living room card and a dry erase marker. Everyone picked a job and we worked out way down the list. These are going to be such a blessing. 🙌🏻

One thing that I’ve found helpful is having a cleaning schedule; Mondays-laundry, Tuesday-sweep and mop and vacuum floors, Wednesday-Bathrooms, Thursday-laundry again, Fridays-Dusting and glass cleaning. Saturdays for whatever catchup needs to be done. Then nightly I like to pick up everything thats been left out so…

There is a guy at the Carbondale farmers market that sells mammoth garlic. I bought some from him last year and planted it and it does so well!! So big and hardy. He has it again this year. I just got some more bulbs to plant come October 1st! I didn’t want to forget so I put a yearly reminder in my phone for that date. 😆 Hopefully that will help.
