1/4 cup baking soda

1/4 cup arrow root powder

Then just enough coconut oil to get the consistancy you want. Usually 3-4 tbsp. For mine.

I sometimes add EO. Sometimes i dont. But using a bit of tea tree oil or lavender can help with smelly bacteria if thats is an issue!

What about Mrs. Connin saying she was going to keep Harry (Bevel) when she was talking to the preacher?? I wish she would have adopted him. Although her boys were mean to him so that probably wouldn’t have been great either. Ugh poor little boy. This was such a troubling story.

Ok I had never heard of this story nor read anything by O’Conner before so once I got to the end of this story I was completely shocked! I also think I missed a lot of symbolism on my first read through.

So good) and then warmed them in the pan so they had a bit of a crunch. We love them.

Yes. I also loved that she said make this home happy until you get one of your own and if not be content here. Having daughters remain at home until marriage was not a concept I had growing up. Yes! Chapter 8 has been my favorite so far. It was so sweet to read about the dad helping Marme overcome her sin of anger. And also in chapter 9. Love the way marme teaches the girls and how the chapters often end with epic parenting examples.
