Chapters 5-8 this week! How’s everyone liking it?! Jordan and I were talking about the fact that Cohen makes the setting into a character itself. Some stories could happen anywhere and it wouldn’t change a thing but the setting is a crucial aspect and the story couldn’t exist without it. Mago Re and Aloysius remind me of Sherlock Holmes and Watson 😂 The seleni are the perfect villain.
Also, “Into the mouth of the wolf” “May the wolf die” gave me chills.

I love it so much. I’m way ahead because I just can’t stop reading it! Yes the setting, the imagery. Re’s house sounds astounding. And I want to go to Venice now. Even if this is a fictional version of the city it makes me want to visit.
